Personal background – experience and expertise

Pablo Perversi is the Europe Zone President at Danone, bringing over 30 years of global branded food leadership with a wealth of wealth of experience in various different business models.

Previously, he served as Chief Gourmet, R&I, and Sustainability Officer at Barry Callebaut, where he was a member of the Executive Committee. Before that, Pablo was Vice President of Foods Europe at Unilever, leading significant business and portfolio transformations. From 2011 to 2014, he was Vice President of Foods SEAA, driving growth through strategic interventions across the region.

Pablo began his career as a management trainee at Unilever in 1993, holding various leadership roles spanning general and regional management, finance, sales, and category management. He has held positions of responsibility in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

In addition to his corporate roles, Pablo has been influential in various external roles. He has served as an adviser to the Minister for Sports and has been engaged in academia, teaching and collaborating with universities and institutions. He has been a board member of industry associations like Culinaria, co-chair of the WBCSD Food & Nature Program, and OP2B.

Currently, Pablo is a board member of Luccianno’s and Food and Drink Europe.

He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Economics from the University of Birmingham and has pursued further development in Sustainable Leadership at Cambridge University and Leadership at Harvard.
